Art is a subjective experience that can profoundly affect your consciousness, lasting for fleeting moments to an eternity. A shape or color that garners your attention, A tiny bowl or ceramic cup passed down from your grandmother or a huge public installation. I appreciate the big and the small. A photograph, story or song may change the course of someones day and resonate for a lifetime. The personal, the aesthetic and sometimes the lack of complication, sometimes the controversy. Always the relationship it has with you.

We need art to uplift us, validate our connection to one another. Art is a reflection of a time or place, within our mind and hearts.
